Despegando hacia la lectura: FONÉTICA™ is an authentic Spanish phonics program designed to support students’ biliteracy development as they learn to read in Spanish, while making cross-linguistic connections to related English literacy skills. The program offers a systematic and explicit approach to teaching early foundational skills in Spanish using literacy components in a cohesive unit: oral language development, phonological awareness, and phonics.
